Frequently asked questions about monthly fares

Quick answers to help you use fare snapshots, read price trend badges, and move to live booking checks.

What does the monthly fare calendar show?

The calendar shows one-way fare snapshots by day for the selected Dublin route. The left panel is outbound from Dublin, and the right panel shows the return leg back to Dublin. Each date cell also shows a price trend badge if enough historical data is available.

Are these fares live or cached snapshots?

These are cached planning snapshots, not live checkout prices. Use them to compare date patterns and spot trend direction, then run a live search before booking.

What do the trend badges (↓ −€X / ↑ +€X) mean?

Each badge compares the first recorded fare for that date against the latest snapshot. A green ↓ badge means the price has fallen since it was first tracked; a red ↑ badge means it has risen. Click the badge to open the full price history chart for that date.

What do "First tracked", "Lowest seen", and "Latest" mean in the trend panel?

"First tracked" is the price when this date was first captured in our history. "Lowest seen" is the cheapest price recorded across all snapshots. "Latest" is the most recently recorded price. These help you judge whether the current fare is near its historical floor or has room to drop further.

Why do some dates show no trend badge?

A trend badge only appears when at least two historical data points exist for that route and date. Newly added dates or recently enabled routes may not have enough history yet — check back after the next weekly refresh.

How often is fare data refreshed?

Snapshot data is refreshed weekly. Availability and prices can still move between refreshes, so always verify current totals on the booking site.

Can I switch to another Dublin route?

Yes. Use the route chips or route search box to switch destinations from Dublin. The calendar, trend badges, and summary all update to the selected route automatically.

What is the difference between Monthly Fares and Search Flights?

Monthly Fares is for date planning — it shows fare-calendar snapshots and price trend history so you can spot cheaper date patterns. Search Flights is for live flight search and real-time booking options across routes.

Do final ticket prices change before booking?

Yes, they can. Final totals may change based on live inventory, taxes, baggage rules, and partner-site pricing updates. Always confirm the latest fare before payment.
